Item 1: Update from previous meeting – Nothing to report.
Item 2: Mediawiki discussion – Nothing to report.
Item 3: – Wiki Loves Monuments – Neville informed the team that the contest was launched on 2nd September and received media coverage from a number of media outlets. These have been documented in this wiki through the Press coverage page. Public participation has been strong so far, with over 350 photos submitted so far. It was agreed that a link to the submissions received is added to the WLM landing page.
Item 3: – Wiki Loves Monuments – Neville informed the team that he recorded an interview for MALTARTI which will be aired in November, shortly before the opening of the Wiki Loves Monuments exhibition at Spazju Kreattiv.
Item 3: – Wiki Loves Monuments – Neville suggested that the workshop scheduled for 22nd September is cancelled, as the high degree of participation to the contest makes it redundant. Instead, it was suggested that the workshop is used to encourage participants to link the photos submitted to existing Wiki articles/categories. Toni will be creating a barnstar/invitation to be sent to all participants.
Item 4: Accounts & Administration – Toni suggested that following Wiki Loves Monuments, the board is expanded to include representatives of WCM’s collaborators (Spazju Kreattiv, M3P Foundation). This can be followed up with the creation of a membership scheme.
