Outcomes
Item 1: Update from previous meeting – nothing to report.
Item 2: Mediawiki discussion – a sub-category for meetings by year was created by Toni in order to better organise the WCM wiki. Toni also suggested adding a Hotcat extension to the wiki in the near future. This will be installed by the next meeting.
Item 3: Plan of action for 2017 – Knowledge Organisation Systems seminar – Neville informed the team that three international Wikimedians have confirmed their participation in the debate and editathon. It was agreed that the edtathon will take place at the Mill, in collaboration with the Gabriel Caruana Foundation. Neville will be speaking to Raffaella in the coming days to coordinate this matter, as well as to further plan the possible WLM exhibition at the Mill at the end of January.
Neville will be drafting an invitation list consisting of members from public entities and voluntary organisations within the cultural sector. These individuals and organisations will be invited to participate. Neville will be meeting Prof. Milena Dobreva to coordinate issues such as promotion and advertising in the coming days.
An application for a rapid grant to cover certain logistical costs will be submitted to the Wikimedia Foundation.
Item 4: Accounting and administration – bank account – some minor issues related to WCM’s registration with the Inland Revenue Department are currently being finalised.
