Outcomes
Item 1: Update from previous meeting – Nothing to report.

Item 3: Membership scheme – Toni explained the need for, and purpose of, establishing a membership scheme. He argued that the primary function of a membership scheme is to further engage editors and potential editors with WCM, rather than fundraising.
Edwin explained that Electronic Music Malta (EMM) has a tiered membership structure, with different types of membership providing different benefits Membership fees are handled through PayPal. EMM also has a membership card.
Issues to bear in mind in terms of a WCM membership scheme are related to incentives for membership. These could include voting rights, rights to apply for funding etc.
Toni explained that Spazju Kreattiv is placing great emphasis on collaborations with Voluntary Organisations and is looking to develop this collaboration further by organising a workshop with the VOs with which it collaborates and exploring the possibility of establishing a centralised membership scheme.
Item 4: Plan of action for 2017 – Knowledge Organisation Systems seminar – Neville explained that all is on schedule for the seminar taking place later in the week. The edit-a-thon will be taking place at the University of Malta, as we were not successful in obtaining a temporary internet connection at the GCF Mill. Discussions with the Vodafone Foundation for future collaboration is ongoing. The edit-a-thon will nonetheless take place in collaboration with GCF. Registrations for the edit-a-thon are healthy.
Item 5: Accounting and administration – bank account – Neville gave an update on the WCM bank account and tax status.
