Outcomes
Item 1: Update from previous meeting – Neville updated the team about his recent participation in The Big Fat Brussels Meeting to discuss the ongoing copyright reform taking place across the European Parliament.
Neville also discussed the recent edit-a-thon carried out in collaboration with Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti. The edit-a-thon focused on Wiki pages for FPM, Victor Pasmore and Palazzo Falson.
Item 2: Mediawiki discussion – Nothing to report.
Item 3: Annual Report documentation – The WCM Annual Report 2016 was approved by the Board, together with the Financial Returns, List of Current Administrators and Organisational Structure.
Item 4: Expansion of Board – It was agreed that the Board will be expanded to include Raffaella Zammit and Andrew Pace. They will be offered a position on the Board and will be signing the relevant documentation will be signed in due course.
Item 5: Plan of action for 2017 – Wiki Loves Monuments – The collaboration between WCM and Spazju Kreattiv on the upcoming WLM was discussed. WCM will be drafting a detailed work plan over the coming weeks and submitting this to SK.
Item 6: Accounting and administration – WCM formally received the relevant documentation from the Inland Revenue Dept. Neville will be applying for a VAT number in the upcoming days.
